EarthLink recognizes this trend and has responded to the need by offering Metered Power to all Colocation customers. By incorporating our branch circuit monitoring system into our data center services, we are able to provide variable rate pricing for electricity based on actual KWh consumed. Operating this way not only saves our customers money, but also enables them to continually tune their systems to operate as efficiently as possible.
Environmental: EarthLink maintains an ambient temperature of 68 degrees. Redundant 300 Ton Liebert Dry Coolers along with over 200 Tons of 2(N+1) redundant HVAC system provides the necessary cooling power to insure our customers equipment are able to run as efficiently as possible.
Security: IP based video surveillance system monitors the building perimeter, all entrances and all essential mechanical devices and strategic points within the data center. The data center access points are secured by electromechanical locks utilizing a combination of authentication mechanisms such as key codes and biometrics.
