There are a lot of companies out there providing email services, even a hosted Microsoft Exchange solution. But what if you find yourself in an industry that’s heavily regulated and has many rules when it comes to handling information about individuals or cases, etc.? This is the reality that the healthcare industry and the financial industry face.
The healthcare industry falls under the Health Insurance Portability and Accounting Act or HIPAA. This puts rules on organizations on how they handle their email communication.
